Bhojan Setu ("we", "our", or "us") is operated by Bhojan Setu Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore, India. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our restaurant management SaaS platform. This policy complies with the Indian IT Act 2000, DPDP Act 2023, and GDPR principles.

  • Account Information: Name, mobile number, email address, restaurant name, GST number.
  • Transaction Data: Order history, payment records, invoice data.
  • Customer Data: Data you enter about your customers (name, mobile, email, loyalty points) — you are the data controller for this data.
  • Usage Data: Platform usage logs, device information, IP address, browser type.
  • Financial Data: Payment method details (processed securely through Razorpay; we do not store card data).

3. How We Use Your Information

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on servers hosted in India (Hostinger/DigitalOcean). We implement AES-256 encryption for sensitive fields, HTTPS for all data in transit, row-level tenant isolation in our multi-tenant database, Redis key-prefixed session isolation, and regular security audits. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • • Razorpay — Payment processing
  • • MSG91 — OTP and SMS delivery
  • • Meta WhatsApp Cloud API — WhatsApp messaging
  • • Amazon S3 / Cloudflare — File storage and CDN

Each third party has its own privacy policy governing their data practices.
